AS215842 is the personal network of Erwin Paal. Founded in 2023 as a hobby project and for educational purposes.
I am running my network on an HPE DL360 Gen9 server located in Amsterdam (ams01) and extended it with two Virtual Private Servers, one in Amsterdam (ams02) and one in Kansas City (mci01).
My machines run on Debian 12 with the bird2 routing daemon to do BGP. All my machines are interconnected with WireGuard tunnels and have iBGP sessions for internal traffic.
Because IPv4 is legacy and address space is expensive due to exhaustion, my network is IPv6-only. IPv6 is the future and should be implemented by everybody today!
I have a /44 prefix which is divided into smaller blocks for my different locations and purposes:
